SASOLBURG. – The Zamdela Crime Prevention Unit was busy with patrol duties recently when they received information from a community member that dagga was stored at one of the homes in Walter Sisulu.

They followed it up immediately and upon arrival they searched the house and saw a shack in the backyard. When they entered the shack, they found three black refuse bags, two white bags, a 20-litre bucket and a 20-litre sink tub full of dagga. They recovered 60 kilograms of dagga from the shack altogether. A 26-year-old man was arrested and charged under The Drugs and Drugs Trafficking Act.
