Under the private use law smoking dagga in public will still be an offence.
Daggafarians will only be allowed to grow their own or be gifted from a friend with weed. No provisions are made for the commercialisation of cannabis to enable people to buy it in a store.
The very worst part of this law is that you will not be allowed to smoke in areas of your own private dwelling that is in public view. This, for example, makes it illegal for you to smoke cannabis in the front of your yard or on your balcony.
